Lakeland shoppers have been praising a dual air fryer alternative which has been touted as "changing their lives". Air fryers have become extremely popular as they help cut down on energy usage and provide a healthier way of cooking food.

But the £139 Lakeland air fryer has become so popular, people are ditching Ninja for the own brand product. The 9L Dual Basket Air Fryer has a number of useful features including a large 9 litre capacity across 5.5 litre and 3.5 litre baskets, easy-to-use touchscreen display and adjustable time and temperature.

It has drew similarities to the £199 Ninja air fryer that you can buy from Argos that has a smaller capacity that the cheaper Lakeland. The cheaper version also has stunning reviews from shoppers.

One shopper who said they "couldn't live without it" added: "Only had this did a week and wonder how I lived without it, I did look a several other brands and this one stands heads above all the other.

"The two baskets are great, one larger at 5.5 l and the other 3.5 l are perfect. I did a roast chicken in the larger basket and it was amazing, frozen chips taste like nothing I have tasted before,. Best appliance I have purchased. I have put a review on my Silversurfers face book page so apologies as you will be swamped with orders. Increase your stock!!"

While another shopper who called it "so handy" added: "Absolutely love this air fryer. I've had air fryers for many years but this dual one is so much better. I've been playing with it for a week and I'm still finding out new things . Well worth the money and so much more economical than the oven in fact we haven't had the oven on for the past week.

"We've done the usual chicken nuggets, pork steak, chicken, roast potatoes, home made chips, fish and pies to mention a few and they've all turned out beautiful. The three year guarantee is great and I would highly recommend it."

And a third shopper who praised the appliance added: "This is the best purchase I have made so far this year. It uses far less electricity than my cooker and gives just as good results if not better.

"Even the grandchildren have commented how tasty (yummy in their words) their lunches and dinners have been when cooked in it. I have cooked to perfection mixed veg/peppers, sausages, chicken, roasties, chips, burgers and pork chops. Recommend buying a recipe book.
